ahelton
I have used every PSU calculator imaginable. They are all over the place. My current setup is: Intel Core i5-3570K Quad-Core Processor 3.4 GHz 4 Core LGA 1155 Asus P8Z77-V LK Intel Z77 DDR3 LGA 1155 EVGA GeForce GTX760 SuperClocked w/EVGA ACX Cooler 2GB GDDR5 Corsair Vengeance 8 GB ( 2 x 4 GB ) DDR3 1600 MHz Corsair Carbide Series Black 300R Mid-Tower Corsair CX Series 600 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Extra (1) CPU fan (1) 7200 SATA HDD (2) 5400 GREEN SATA HDD I am really wanting to keep the PSU, because of the hassle with taking everything back. Also, everything seems to run fine at the moment, but it hasn't been tested at a high level. If I were to take back the PSU, I still run the chance of a new model being DOA or having other types of problems. Am I running a little to close? I know this is probably hard to tell, because those PSU calculators all really just to give a rough guess. Would anyone feel uncomfortable with my PSU in terms of its sizing? I understand that it may not be of the best quality, tier, or even brand.
peanutz94
That PSU is plenty for your system. Keep it and have fun with it! Your GPU will use only up to 170watts and that leaves plenty of power for the rest of your system. http://www.geeks3d.com/20090618/graphics-cards-thermal-design-power-tdp-database/
