SmurfBerry
Hi, I have 2x Corsair Force GT 120GB in RAID 0, a month or two back I started getting issues with the OS (Win 7 64bit) just froze, or the C: (local disk as in the two force drives in raid 0) disappearing, or unable to read. So I did as suggested, erased the drivers and updated them with the latest firmware, then after reinstalling the OS, everything worked "OK" but with some performance issues. Yesterday alot of things started to go wrong, as chrome and the shockwave plugin stopped responding, I couldn´t even use CTRL+ALT+DEL to open the task manager. Restarted the PC by cutting the power as it was non responsive, once I was inside the OS again, I opened Chrome, and the same problem came back to haunt me. The drives are just around 1 year old, and I´m really REALLY tired of these issues, which have caused me to reinstall and erase the drives two times over, this is horrible.
Toasted
I don't think the sound would have come from the SSDs as there isn't any moving parts inside one. It may be something else. Based on your specs you are using the 800D. Are you using the included backplane for the drives (Hot-swap bay)? If so, have you tried directly plugging the drives into the motherboard ports? Run a ATTO benchmark and post a screenshot here.
SmurfBerry
I´ve swapped the drivers into another PC setup, the buzzing sound went away during the test, might be from the USB bus or the speedstep. However the Local Disk (C:) still disappeared, control panel just shows a blank white page, same goes for C: CTRL+ALT+DEL still dosen´t work, so you have to cut the power to shut down the PC. The question is, how can I tell which drive is failing/damaged, as they are in RAID 0 I simply cannot disconnect one of them.

Toasted
The ATTO benchmark seems to be fine. Unfortunately, you cannot test the drives as they are in RAID so you will need to break the RAID array to test each drive. If you do decide to break the array, i'd suggest you check the SSD firmware and see if that needs to be updated.

The freeze errors seems to occur at random, and since I´ve had the exact same problem pre firmware update, I´d have to say somethings wrong with one, or even both. When the problem first occured, I would restart the PC and at the boot screen (rapid storage) they both showed the "status" as "FAILED" I´m so sick of theese drives I wanna puke! This part is making me suspect your motherboard and not the drives. If you have a MOBO making noises, something is wrong with it. SmurfBerry
This part is making me suspect your motherboard and not the drives. If you have a MOBO making noises, something is wrong with it. Well, the sound was from the bus as the "Intel speedstep" was active in a certain configuration, the Motherboard (Asus Sabertooth Z77) replaced my at the time current Asus P8Z68-V Pro/GEN3 mobo, the drives had the same freezing/non responding issues back then, so I´m 99,9% confident saying it´s not a issue with the motherboard.
