Cannot submit a ticket for my Carbide Air 540

Due to the air 540 not yet being listed on the customer portal site I have had to come here.

I bought my Air 540 direct from Corsair on the 27/7 and I see the very short front panel cable issues have been revised since then. Is there any way I can purchase these for my case? I am using extenders at the moment but I would really prefer not to. My other question is are replacement drive bay covers available for the 5.25 bays? One of mine is broken and the other is cracked. The joys of having builders in your home :-)

Thanks in advance

Chris

The part number should be CC-9011030-WW. Did you click on the magnifying glass to bring up the different models?

At any rate, if you submit an RMA request just pick and case and explain your issue in the comments box. Be sure to stress that your case is the 540 too. Just so it can be fixed internally. Then post your case number here so one of the Corsair employees can fix it for you if it's missed when you submit your ticket.. The cables should be sent free and I don't think the drive bays are available just yet. I may be wrong on that, but that was the last word I heard. Be sure to attach a copy of your sales receipt along with your RMA request and you should be good to go.

Alternately if you call their toll free number they would be able to address both issues right there on the spot instead of waiting on forum responses or emails..

  • 2 weeks later...
I submitted a ticket using an 800D product part number but I clearly stated in the title and description this was for the Air 540. I now have my extended cables and it took only a few days to get them here in the UK. Thanks corsair guys and girls for your help. :-)

Thanks people followed the advice found on this forum, used a random part number from the drop down list and clearly stated that my case was the Carbide Air 540 in the description. RMA was accepted had a ticket number within 24hrs, received item today.

Great service due to this forum! Item just about satisfies the need but a longer usb cable would have helped to keep a cleaner look as now I have a shiny black pair of cables running right to left across my motherboard which kind of defeats the object of the RH stowage area. Unless another panel is released soon with an even longer lead I will revert to plan A and buy a seperate extender.
