Corsair Vengeance 2000 - MIC Loopback

I've been doing a bit of sleuthing on this forum and there doesn't appear to be any definitive answer, and some people even stating that they don't receive this problem, but has anyone figured out a way to stop the consistent loop back of audio? This doesn't appear to have anything to do with windows, but more the headset firmware itself.

I can completely remove and disable this headset, leave the USB in the computer and still hear the feedback in the mic through the headphones.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and if one of the support staff can chime as to why this has been setup this way, that'd be excellent.

Cheers guys! :)

I'm sorry to hear this. It sounds like a noise leak. Unfortunately there's no quick fix for this. Let’s have this unit replaced. Please go to corsair.force.com and put in your RMA request through Corsair customer portal. You may have to create new username and password if you’re a new portal user. Once your account created, you can access all your Cases, RMA(s), technical support questions in one place. Please let us know if you have any question or concern. If you’re within your local re-seller return/exchange policy, you may want to contact them first. Our RMA exchange process will involve shipping transit, and depending on where you’re located, it may be a lot faster to do this with your local re-seller.
