dklotchkov
OK! This is the odd thing. I have 2 identical neutron gtx SSDs and I recently tried to update firmware on both of them using Corsair tool box. One drive updated from m206 to m311 just fine, but the second drive only updated from m206 to m208:(:. Tried to turn off PC , no use . Second drive just shows that m208 is current firmware ! Can you tell me please what am I doing wrong or maybe I have bad ssd ?
Yellowbeard
Check the EXACT model numbers. Is one GTX and the other a GTXB?
dklotchkov
Yep ! One is CSSD-N240GBGTX-BK and the other is CSSD-N240GBGTXB-BK. What are the differences between 2 drives ?
Yellowbeard
Same controller, different NAND. The GTX is 24nm and the GTXB is 19nm NAND. M208 and M311 are the most recent firmwares for each. They will "probably" run fine in RAID-0 but having 2 different drives is not ideal.
