Wezelkrozum
Hi Corsair (probably RAM guy again ) The Situation So my V2000 headset has been cracked once again after 7 months (Given out to me when the stronger fabric requirements were applied). I'll request a RMA tomorrow but for now I have another question. With me being extra careful after it broke for the first time last January after a few weeks, I suspect I will have to send it back again in 7 months in march and once again around September 2014. The Complaint Unfortunately the warranty expires december 2014 so I guess I will probably end up without a headset around April 2015 :sigh!:. That's not really the quality product I was expecting from Corsair at this price! Are there any plans for a longer lasting revision of the product? Or are you going to give out 4 headsets to every customer until the warranty has expired? The Question And finally a personal question about the extra costs I have to make because of the RMA's. Since this product has a 2 years warranty I assume Corsair covers my unexpected unnecessary transportation costs. But after the previous RMA I didn't receive a mail from Corsair with the offer to cover the transportation costs. I didn't bother then but since I expect 3 more RMA's in the future it's worth it. So my question: What are the steps to get my transportation costs back?
Toasted
If the headset has been replaced by Corsair via RMA, Contact customer service via phone and tell them. They should help you. You can call customer service using Skype by calling their toll-free number. Make sure you have your previous ticket # as well.

M4KER
Why do these keep breaking is the question? Sweet Corsair is willing to just hand out RMA's whenever it breaks but come on. 2-3-4 headsets later and it gets really old paying $15-$25 to ship back a busted headset, just saying. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 4, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 4, 2013 We do have a new revision for the headset that will prevent the same cracking issue. All replacement headset units came from this new batch.
M4KER
We do have a new revision for the headset that will prevent the same cracking issue. All replacement headset units came from this new batch. Is there a way to tell if you have the new revision? I ask because I just got my first replacement about 5 days ago. It looks identical to the one I had.

win8sadface
Time to start my RMA on my black plastic slider cracked V2000's... Sounds like this problem is even prevalent in the revision, which makes me sad... I don't have sales receipt, or original box, wonder if that's going to be an issue. Just go through the RMA process, get the advanced RMA and send your broken headset back in the same packaging they send the replacement headset in.
