Artosis
I had a K90 which had been replaced with the K95. Both had the same problem. Both of them dies after a while of use. The K90 was dead after more than a year of using, and the K95 died one moth after using. My PC is self-built which Gigabyte X58A-UD3R with latest BIOS version. I wonder whether my built PC kills the keyboard. If it is the reason, I may have to sell it once i receive the replace. I pay nearly 30 dollars for shipping two keyboards for RMA. However, I have a question, can I use PS/2 port to connect the keyboard. Is it better to use PS/2 port instead of USB port?
NothinPersonal
You probably need a new mobo if your board keeps killing your kb. Your usb ports might be shoddy. Also you cannot connect a usb kb into a ps2 port alone. You'll need a connector.

Artosis
OK thank you RAM GUY, I wonder is my motherboard compatible with K95. I have Gigabyte X58A-UD3R (rev 2). Is it necessary to install driver for the keyboard. I notice that the keyboard still works without the driver

My first K70 died within 2days, the second one LED's started burning out after using it for a month.
