arodenas
Recently I purchase this kit of 2x4Gb DDR3 1333MHz for my P5QC that can run up to 8GB DDR3 at 1333MHz on Dual Channel mode. Label info: 1333Mhz 8GB (2X4GB) 9-9-9-24 1.50V ver8.16 Lot code: 133102937, Module 1: Nº 691956, Module 2: Nº 691957 With both modules installed, mother don't beep, don't start. I also tried to adjust manually latency & voltage at BIOS, but this don't resolve anything. Then, I try with only one module installed. With module Nº 691956, all the startup was ok. With module Nº 691957, mother don't beep, nor start. What should I do now? Thanks.
peanutz94
What should I do now? If you just purchased them I would return them to your reseller. It's pretty easy if one module works and one doesn't ... you need to exchange them.
arodenas
Thanks for answer. ¿Do you know if this version (8.16) are compatible with the Asus P5QC (Intel P45 Chipset)? I'm lost with version numbers... Thanks.
peanutz94
That version is yes! As long as they are made with 256x8 IC's you should be good to go. You can check version numbers here. http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68811
