Corsair 540 HDD Trays Broke Instantly

Ive posted on different forums and ive been told that youll possible RMA my issue.

Ive sent a question in but to no answer!

I received the case yesterday and the trays were kind of stuck in the case, so i took them out carefully. As soon as I pressed the pressure parts, they snapped instantly. I checked the second one to see how I could have done it and they have cracks where pressure is supposed to be pressed to get the trays out.

Is there a possibility I could get an RMA for this? If so, how would I do so? There is no part number for anything to do with the 540.

Hi, I just bought a Corsair 540 case, and tried to install the hard drives into the cages very carefully, but they hadnt pugged in. When I tried to push one of the cages in to get them plugged in at the back, the tabs snapped instantly.

I put in a ticket no 6093133, but it didnt ask me to write a description anywhere, and I pressed back and forwards on my browser a few times to look for where I was meant to add some information for this, but it just submitted a second ticket by accident.

Could I please get a replacement tray?

I didnt fill in details as well i dont think. However, i received 3 trays and even a new SSD cage which is actually much better!

EDIT: +RAMGUY, im the person who was asking about coil whine in the AX860 and i have bought one and it is completely silent!

Cool, I actually stuck my SSDs on top of my HDDs to cover up the labels, though I just realized that blu tak probably isnt a great idea right under the graphics cards, so I ordered some double sided tape.

The cage still works though, but I dont seem to be able to easily pull them out after the plugs connected at the back, and I'm scared of gripping the tabs on the other one too much now in case it snaps too.

Yeah, even with the replacements, the hot swap connectors are way too tight for all my drives. Trying to pull them out with the tabs feel as though theyll snap.

What i have to do is press the tabs but then put my palm on the HDDs and use it to pull the drives towards me. You can tell by doing that, that the force needed would break the tabs instantly.
