Wam7
Is the Corsair H100i being sold today exactly the same as the one sold upon it's release? Have there been any changes to the accessories like fans?
peanutz94
For the most part . The fans have been changed to PWM versions. But other than that not much else has changed.
Wam7
For the most part . The fans have been changed to PWM versions. But other than that not much else has changed. Thanks for that. So if the first ones didn't come with PWM fans did it also come with the PWM leads? The reason I ask is that I can get a second hand but unopened one which was actually purchased last December and I want to make sure it's not better for me to buy a new one. thenosbod
I would go new every time. AFAIK the warranty is not transferable.
Wam7
I would go new every time. AFAIK the warranty is not transferable. It is not transferable but the guy will sort out any problems for me so no real worries there and if it's cheap enough then it more than makes up for the slight inconvenience of having to contact him. peanutz94
No, the first ones did not come with PWM fans. You would need to purchase the splitter separately though.
Wam7
No, the first ones did not come with PWM fans. You would need to purchase the splitter separately though. All the unboxings I've watched all come with the 2x PWM fan splitters even if the fans included were the 3 pins ones. Are you referring to the same thing or something else? (Many thanks for the assistance!)
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 20, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 20, 2013 The I-series coolers dont come with a fan splitter per say it is cable make to connect two fans. If you look closely it has all 8-pins so it is not a splitter. But is this what you are asking about and yes it will come with two of these.
