damd
Hi, I've read online that the SSD is supposed to be listed as an "ATA/SATA device" in the Device Manager of Windows. Mine is listed as simply "Disk drive". Is this fine or should I be using something else? I have enabled TRIM and AHCI and I use Windows 7 64-bit which is running on the same disk that I'm asking about. It's the only disk I have in this system (Dell Latitude E6520). Attached are a few screenshots which may be relevant to the question. Cheers
damd
Additionally, as you can see in scr3.png, "write caching" is enabled. Should it be this way?

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 6, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 6, 2013 I would check with the system manufacturer for the latest Chipset driver, but there is no driver to install for the SSD itself the drive will be part of the MB controller driver that is loaded with the chipset drivers
