HX750 abrupt and loud fan under load

Hi all, a few month back I got my older HX750 replaced under RMA, I got the new model of the HX750, the one with the fan off until it it hits a certain temperature/load. It has been great in my rig that has has no GPU in it and just an i5 3570k running the IGP for the display, the fan have never been on until recently.

Now a week a go I decided to go back to gaming so I picked up an GTX 680 that was on offer and this is where the PSU problem hits home. Having used the PSU for months with the fan never having to come on I had a completely silent rig, with the GPU in that is silent as well with it being an MSI twin frozr design, the PSU is now the loudest thing in my rig by a county mile, it's bordering on the point of ridiculous how load it is, it goes what seem 100% fan speed when I play BF3, it's annoying as ****.

Now I have done my research on this and it seems I'm not the only one who has pointed out this design flaw, the fan should speed up slowly and increase with the temp of the PSU.

So can I get an RMA on this? has the stupid design flaw been corrected with later revisions of the PSU? cheers.

Yes you can! Just use the link on the left to request an RMA.

You said this is a second unit. Did you have it replaced by Corsair or your retailer?

If it was with Corsair you should contact CS by phone if possible with your previous RMA number and let them know the replacement is faulty too. They should also pick up the shipping costs on all second RMA's. but you may need to point that out to them if this is the case.

I'm sure they will take care of you one way or the other.
