lovernotafightr
Ok, so I'm not gonna lie, ive been a logitech fanboy for ages. I've had their keyboards and mice since 2000, recently i bought a k60 and a m60, loved them, they feel great, and look great. But both needed to be RMAd. Then i bought a k95, and m65, the m65 needed RMA, and now as of tonight the k95 does too. All the same issue. They just quit working, have to unplug and wait an unknown amount of time, then they may or may not work again. What gives with this? Is this a known issue? Toasted
This is not a common issue. Have you tried the keyboard on another computer? Is the issue still present?
lovernotafightr
Yes, these issues would happen on my laptop as well. My logitechs, SIIG, and other keyboards/mice all do not have this problem on my desktop. And both the m65 and k60 that have been RMAd seem to be working now. But the k95 is still hit or miss. I suppose I'll need an RMA for this one too...
lovernotafightr
Now not only does it stop working occasionally when it is working the back lights flicker randomly. sometimes one flicker, sometimes flickering for a few seconds. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 22, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 22, 2013 When the keyboard flickers or stops working, is the USB connection dropped and the device manager no longer detecting it?
lovernotafightr
Sorry for the delay I've been very busy at work and out of town a lot and not had much time on my desktop. The problem is still happening and I will check next time in the device manager to see if it is still showing up. The flicker and stop working symptoms seem to be different. It hasn't flickered recently but still stops working. It's like it "locks up" whatever light are on will remain on and nothing will respond. My other keyboard will work just fine, turning caps lock, num lock on and off, but the k95 lights wont change until unplugged, left unplugged for a while (still cant figure out how long it needs sometimes 5 seconds, sometimes an hour, sometimes overnight), and then plugged back in. When it does stop working, if unplugged and plugged back in before that unknown amount of time to make it happy it will almost always say "device not recognized, the device plugged into the computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it." Braxos
Logitech items can be the issue. At least for me the k95 is working on some ports but when I plug the g700 on the system those ports are giving problems on the k95. 6 from 8 usb 2.0 ports have this only the 2 last are letting k95 and g700 work without issues (I guess/ I hope/ I think) plus the 2 usb 3.0 that the keyboard works. lovernotafightr
ok the keyboard did it again, this time when i moved it about an inch to the right on the desk, the lights flickered (and then stayed on) and it stopped responding, it doesn't show up in the device manager and when unplugged and plugged back in the lights do not light and it says it malfunctioned and is not recognized. And i currently have 0 logitech devices plugged in.
lovernotafightr
I left it unplugged for about 5-10 min and it recognized when it was plugged back in but the back light is flickering once or twice every couple minutes. It's staying responsive for now, but with an occasional flicker.

Toasted
Try the mouse on a different computer and see if it works fine.
lovernotafightr
I've already RMAd the mouse, and its worked flawlessly since. My k60 also works flawlessly since RMA, but the k95 is the problem. And yes it does the same thing on my laptop.
Toasted
Request an RMA to replace the keyboard. You can contact customer service via phone and ask if its possible for them to cover shipping for the keyboard for you. You can call them using Skype by calling their toll-free number on their website.
