wytnyt
it should fit ok.,just dont use the led fans to try cooling the rad or youll be on here asking why your temps arent ok..;):
peanutz94
I don't believe so. The top fans are spaced too far apart. You could use an H80 though if you are not planning on overclocking real high or if at all. EDIT: Hey Wytnyt...look at the pics real good. The fans have a funny spacing both on top and bottom. Thats definitely not a standard bolt pattern. I almost agreed with you until i took a second look.
romy.ec
Well i want to overclock it, if the h100i wont fit and the h80i isnt enough for overclocking, is there anything i can do?
wytnyt
yeah the site i looked at only showed the specs, the fans are spaced apart which is rather unusual.of course it would be a simple mod to make a h100i fit anyways, thx for catching that for me. peanutz94
Well i want to overclock it, if the h100i wont fit and the h80i isnt enough for overclocking, is there anything i can do? It is. Just not real high OC's. If your going mild to mid, then it should be okay. But a double rad isn't going to fit .I would think trying to mod that case to accept one would be more trouble than it's worth. It not just a matter of sliding bolt holes over , but also cutting out a portion for the fans. And then your left with a huge space to try to fill or cover from where the fan originally sat. I would just get another case!
wytnyt
take a look at the corsair line of cases,i own 3 and theres lots of detail in their cases...
romy.ec
well, ive been thinking of buying another case, but i dont have the money right now... what if i use the h100i in this case with one side opened until i buy a new case? would that work?... i really like the carbide 540, what do u think of that case? thanks :D
wytnyt
the 540 will be the reason i build my 4th unit,in many ways i wish i had chosen that case earlier...

At least without high temps. You would be blocking off too much of the radiator for it to properly cool.

I mean if i have 1 side of the case opened i could somehow install the h100i outside the case until i buy the new case
wytnyt
I mean if i have 1 side of the case opened i could somehow install the h100i outside the case until i buy the new case you can install it most any way as long as theres an unobstructed airflow, even without removing the side cover especially if you have a decent amount of intake airflow... i inadvertently laid a notebook on top of my computer once covering 90 % of the rad and only noticed it because my load temps raised 12 degrees over normal...
