jccjcat
Hello everyone. So I've had the Corsair M60 Gaming Mouse for awhile now, and now... its not being properly recognized by my computer. I can't change any of the settings using the M60 Software, and the firmware update program is saying: "Cannot open USB device, please plug the device into a USB port or reinstall driver!" The mouse still "works", but its stuck on a really high DPI and I'm trying to use it on a 1080p monitor, which makes it awfully inconvenient to click. The DPI profile and sniper buttons are not changing the sensitivity. Any way I could fix this. I've really loved this mouse while it worked. On a side note: I've been having quite a lot of problems with Corsair products recently, but I guess that's what happens when you buy a lot of their products (I've bought over 14 Corsair Products throughout the course of this year alone). Even though its been pretty annoying getting a faulty product, I'm at least reassured that the community and customer support is just awesome, so that usually justifies me buying another Corsair product. Toasted
If possible, can you try the mouse on another computer and see if its recognised?
jccjcat
If possible, can you try the mouse on another computer and see if its recognised? Same issue. I've tried it on three different computers.
Toasted
Request an RMA to replace your mouse.
jccjcat
I sent in a ticket to the Corsair Technical Support site, but its been two days later (it says allow for one business day). I sent in the ticket as a question, rather than an RMA, because I thought that it could be fixed via software, but I guess that isn't the case. Anyone know if I would have to submit another ticket for an RMA request, or if they could just use that ticket. For any Corsair employees, my ticket number is 6081809
