FixTheDrivers
Bought them in late August last year, 2012. Last night while wearing them, I turned my head back to the monitor and noticed the right speaker sound muted. My initial reaction? A very disappointed "Oh no..." A few minutes after that, and after wiggling the cord to make sure it wasn't the audio I was listening too, the right headphone speaker completely doesn't work unless pushed to an extreme angle. I assume an RMA will be needed. I still have one year left on the 2 year warranty. I'm not too disappointed they only lasted a year. I'm more concerned about paying the postal fee for another RMA of the same brand headset I bought on sale.
Toasted
Its normal, For the first RMA you pay shipping for the faulty unit to Corsair. Corsair pays shipping for the replacement to you. If you do receive a faulty replacement unit, contact customer service via phone and tell them.
