FoxxyWoxxy
I am having the very same problem with my H55 I have an overclocked I5-3570 to 4.2 GHz, and my temps never went over 55C even on prime 95 About 4 hours ago my computer locked up and i got a overheat warning. Im not sure if i can feel the pump/hear it. But my temps slowly rise to 90 - 100C then i shut it off. I have tested the header and its fine. Ive only had the cooler for 2 months so if the pump is ruined im never buying from Corsair again video (if you can see it) of what happens https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=306679176145077&set=vb.100004089924204&type=3&theater
wytnyt
did you check the pump rpm? im surprised you have blown something up quite frankly by messing with things when its powered up. one of the first rules of computer maintenance.
