Link2 not reading MSI AMD 7970 temp properly anymore

Hi, hoping there is a quick fix. Been using Corsair Link 2 for a bit now with no issues. Recently updated to BETA 2.4.4948 version. Until this week its all been good but for some reason now the temperature on my video card is no longer being read properly. Corsair sees it ok but it doesn't change. It is locked at 37C. If I check in Catalyst the internal temperature probe is working. Any thoughts?

wytnyt: AMD Catalst Control Center -- Video drivers. I can view the temperature and fan settings from there when in overdrive mode. I use it to confirm that the temperature probe is still functional and providing reading

Bryman, not crossfire (yet).

Interestingly after reboot, the Radeon HD 7900 cure is now reading 47C instead of 37C but its still not reading accurate as it doesn't change. I can get the temp up over 70C easily in games but Corsair Link doesn't change. Bit of a drag because I was using it to control the fan. Now I just bump it to "performance" setting manually to make sure I have decent enough cooling. Lighting was being managed based on temp which was a nice visual (and why I put the Link in in the first place) but doesn't happen now since no temp reading change

what i was wanting to have checked was the video program to see if the software was controlling the video.in mine i had to disable controlling so link could as they both cant control at the same time.

if its set on auto, its controlling and link cant

Thanks, That makes sense. I have check and as near as I can tell I have it set to allow for manual fan control which is ahout as close as I can see. that said, I can control the fan from Link. What concerns me is that I'm not getting a true temperature reading

i think thats within your particular video card,on mine i ended up using a thermal probe

glad u got the rpm going...
