Issue with my K70

Hello everyone,

 

Im having an issue with my K70 and not sure what it is. Every once in a while when im playing a game i will touch any key and all of a sudden it seems like the key just keeps pressing, almost like on off on off on off. I have to unplug the keyboard for about a minute, then plug it back in, then it will be ok for the rest of the night for the most part, but every now and again it will start happening for a second time immediately after I plug it back in. Is this a keyboard issue, BIOS selector issue or a windows driver issue? Thanks for the help!

Do you have the latest BIOS and chipset drivers?

Hi there....If your referring to my MB chipset drivers and BIO's then yes it has the most recent versions.

Have you tried a different mode on the K70? E.g. 1,2,4,8 and BIOS mode?

Note: The numbers change the polling rate. 1000, 500, 250, 125.

 

If possible, try the keyboard on another computer and see if the key still repeats.

I have been switching it.....right now its set to 8 and I haven't seen the issue again....but ill give it some time to see if it pops up again. ill report back here if it happens still.
