Pally1
Greetings, my padlock 2 started to behave in a strange way. I enter the code to unlock it, green light starts blinking. Whwn i put it into usb of any computer green light is solid, but system wont detect the drive, and after 15 sec or so, it locks up by blinking green and red separately(according to the manual its an error), and than only red. Cant access my data or anything. tried resetting it but it wont reset ad returns an error blink signal. How can i fix this?

Pally1
So yeah, password reset does not work, hard reset with 911 does not work aswell, gets a red light blinking, impossible to get a double red blink for master key with double pushing KEY button either. Can i at least get any answer on whats wrong with it? Should i bring it back to the store on warranty or...?

dmchan
Hi, I got the same problem as described in this thread. 1. When I press the key button, both red and green light blinks. OK. 2. I pressed in correct PIN, and only green light lit. OK. 3. Then, I insert the USB to computer, but the PC cannot show the Corsair USB. (While at this moment, the green light on USB is lit continuously like it normally does.) 4. Then, after a while, both red and green light blink once, then remain red light blinks. Then, red light goes off after a while too. Please kindly advise!!!
Toasted
When it's plugged into the computer, Does Device Manager see the USB drive? Have you tried the USB on another computer? Does it work fine?
dmchan
When the USB is active (green light blinks) and plugged in (green light on), I can see a pop-up alert in lower-right corner, saying that Driver is not found for the "Padlock USB device". But, I never see this message before in previous 6 months. Previously, it can recognize it as external USB drive smoothly. What can I do? I believe that it should be a simple error which can be corrected. Please advise.
Toasted
Have you tried right clicking the device in Device Manager>Update Drivers>Search Automatically? or browse to the correct ones?
jftm
I have the same issue. Please help, I can afford loosing the device but not the information inside, the whole point of having a secure drive is to keep information.
