Can't seem to save my OCP settings for ax1200i

Hi guys.

Recently upgraded to the ax1200i as my old 750w Corsair PSU wasn't providing enough power when gaming with my sli gtx 680s. Cant complain as i got a good 5 years out of the 750w Corsair.

Anyway, very happy with the 1200i although I can't get the Over current protection settings to save in link. Everytime I reboot my PC random tick boxes are ticked or unticked - I just want all to be left activated.

When i tick them it's odd, as it takes a few attempts for the ticks to stick, they uncheck themselves almost instantly. But once I get the tick to stay the readings drop to 19, i assume because it isn't drawing enough current yet, I save the profile and go about my day, when I reboot some are suddenly unchecked.. Sometimes all are unchecked sometimes only a couple.

Anyway, i just wanted to sort this wee problem out. I have the h80i coming and wanted to get th e link software fixed.

Will running the ax1200i without link and ocp be a problem? I hope I can get this to work

What version of the software are you using?

Nope, not at all. It will function just like any other PSU. If the OCP is not user defined , then it will use factory default settings.

Thanks for the reply.

I know the psu will still supply power but will it protect from over current if it's not enabled in software?

Any idea why my ocp settings won't save? Is it just because the link softwareis buggy? I almost feel like its beta software.

Yes, it will. Without the software it will just use default values instead of being user defined. The software just gives you the ability to tailor those values if you wish.

It could be, but i thought that was something that was fixed in previous versions of the software. Have you tried deleting all your profiles and creating and saving a new one?
