kredes
Hey there guys. I've got my new Corsair 650w TX v2 PSU, after my first broke down and i got it to RMA. i just wonder, why this new one, starts the fan at full speed everytime i boot the PC? my old V2 didnt do that.. Is that normal or is there something wrong with the new PSU aswell :/? Thanks in advance
peanutz94
The fan does a self test when it first boots. It's a function of the updated fan controllers. It's all normal

kredes
Another thing.. sometimes, when i alt-tab, it sounds like the fan goes up gain!? i have a theory, it's because my GFX needs more power when im in a game, and when i alt-tab out, it kinda self test again or something?
