BarBeCeu
Motherboard: Asrock z77 Extreme6 CPU: i7 3770k 3.5Ghz Case: Rosewill Thor v2-w Geofore GTX 670 ftw 2GB SSD: Samsung 840 Pro HDD: Seagate Drive 3TB RAM: 20GB PSU: COOLER MASTER Silent Pro M2 RSA00-SPM2D3-US 1000W ATX 12V V2.3System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bits http://img854.imageshack.us/img854/5644/5gcp.jpg http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/6569/1927.png My h100i just delivere today then I star to install it after watching on youtube how to install h100i. I dont know why my cpu almost got high temperature and vga [>90degree] even I have installed Cooler hydro H100i. Is my h100i not cooling for my cpu ? (I felt good with logo corsair light up and 2 fans are running). Look at the picture that I draw red color on it. I am not overlock my cpu. First I run max speed fans then the temp of CPU is over 90. After that I change to default mode but it is still over high not change. Anything wrong with my situation? Another question, why my core speed always drop down to 1599.97 MHz even my cpu is 3.5Ghz. Sorry about my dumb questions.

peanutz94
Look at the picture that I draw red color on it. I am not overlock my cpu. First I run max speed fans then the temp of CPU is over 90. After that I change to default mode but it is still over high not change. Anything wrong with my situation? In Core temp you have TJMax circled in red. That is not your actual CPU temp. That is just the maximum that your CPU can go. You should be looking at the Min and Max. Same with real temp, although it is reading off. That is most likely contributed to running multiple monitoring software at the same time. That can and will throw your temps off. In your pic of Corsair LINK you have the CPU and H100I circled. The cooler will always be different than your CPU because it is reading the temp of the coolant and not your actual CPU temp. That is read separately and posted accordingly. According to those pics your CPU is not overheating. Another question, why my core speed always drop down to 1599.97 MHz even my cpu is 3.5Ghz. Intel speedstep. It will throttle your CPU down when it's not being used. If you want your CPU to run at 3.5ghz all the time you will need to disable that in your BIOS and make sure you have power saving features disabled too. . Bryman
If you want your CPU to run at 3.5ghz all the time you will need to disable that in your BIOS and make sure you have power saving features disabled too. . if you dont overclock the CPU you wont need to turn off power saving features just turn off intel speed step, if you do overclock and want the processor to be running at overclocked speeds you will need to turn off power saving features most likely they will be labeled cstate or something like that turn those to off if you want to turn off power saving features
BarBeCeu
I almost disabled "Spread Specturm , Intel SpeedStep Technology, and Power Saving Mode" but it was still showing : CoreSpeed 1600 MHz , Multiplier x16.0 (16-39)
