Corsair H100i leaking?

I've got some doubts what should I do? Need an advice.

I have a brand new Corsair H100i that previously was not in use. I'd only taken it out just to do the unboxing stuff. It was stored in it's original packaging for a period of time.

Today, when I pulled the unit out of it's packaging, I saw some liquids all over the radiator and tubes. Not to much I should say. I wiped it all out and now the unit is clear and there is no any sign of leaking what's so ever.

So the question is: what should I do? Any recommendations?

could have just been excess oil from the fans? i would run it outside the case for a few days and see if there are any leaks.

the fans are stored separately and individually wrapped in their own bag... and appear to be dry as a bone when I opened my box the other day.

why would fans without bearings have any oil associated with them?

imo you got a leak man... go buy another one where you can score it locally and put your bunk one back in that box, return it and get a refund... avoiding the month long RMA process.

I've never had the opportunity to unbox one nor did I take note the fans were "bearingless"

My apologies!

there are dozens of threads here about excess oil from the fans going all over and I mistakenly thought this was one of them.

It's difficult to make a judgement call without a picture or two.

again, sorry!

All fans whether they are bearing or bushing are lubricated at the factory. However as Synthohol pointed out there are dozens of threads here about the excess oil in the fan bearings. (Yes, they have bearings, not bushings) In fact, they are the same basic fan as the SP PWM fans , just in a bulk format. That excess is slung out when the unit is first started and appears to be a coolant leak.

The OP's unit is brand new. There have also been users report "spilled" liquid from initial filling in the package. Again, it appears to be a leak. A quick forum search will confirm both.

My advice to the op is to wipe it all down good then connect it to a PSU outside the case and let it run for a few hours. If there is a leak it will be noticeable and no danger of hurting other components.
