GFED
Hello, I've been using this mouse for the past several months and just wanted to let you guys know my biggest gripe about it so far is that the scroll wheel doesn't properly work. If you try to scroll too fast it will "stutter", for instance if I'm trying to scroll down a page of text it will scroll upwards. So it scrolls down, and up, down and up, down and up when I'm trying to go down, and vise versa. It forces me to go REALLY slow to avoid this from happening... click... click... click... Quite annoying... We will see how long the buttons work until they die... all my other mice have been Logitech and have only lasted about three or so years. GFED
Put in a RMA request Geed and we can replace it for you. Thank you, I just put in a request for RMA, although I do hope I'm not required to send in the mouse first because it is the only one that I have. Toasted
You can request an Advanced RMA by calling customer service via phone. A advanced RMA means Corsair sends you the replacement unit first then you send your mouse back to them. Note: An advanced RMA will require a valid CC. You can call customer service using Skype by calling their toll-free number on their website.
GFED
I got my replacement today. You can really tell the difference in a couple months use. Everything is nice, tight, and clicky again. I'll be sending the old mouse in the mail tomorrow if I can wake up before the UPS store closes. Thanks
johnniedoo
I just got googled to this post, actually. I have been experiencing the opposite issue with my M90. when i get slow and need more precision, it will jump down, or up, i guess, in many applications. Mostly in browsers though. I have spent months trying to track down the conflict until today, when i googled the symptom and got this. I had refrained from going back to corsair, though i do update the firmware etc, i found the software to be glitchy from the start and it has gotten better-so, i wrote off this odd behavior to the software. i have other mouse versions, logitech and microsoft which do not have the same issue in the same places, or any places. it is only corsair m90 and happens all the time. kellner
I had the same skip scrolling issues as others, and until recently I had put my m90 away in a box and used an alternate mouse. I decided to give it one last shot, thinking maybe it was a dust build up issue similar to that of the original mice with balls. I didn't have any compressed air in a can sitting around so I had to use my air compressor, but it certainly did the trick. For the moment I am no longer having the skip scrolling issue. For the moment I am no longer having the skip scrolling issue. i had forgotten totally about the forum. I did the same thing after corsair offered to rma my m90 2yrs ago or so. put it away, 2yrs later gave it the 'one last shot' and it worked. no more jumping around or skipping a dozen lines in the scroll wheel. I believe i is dust or other build up too.after a year of use,it is doing the same thing again. my mini vac broke down and havent wanted to pay $10 for a can of air will do just as you suggest thanks. i had this mouse back on the shelf for a couple of months.
