MGGenn
Hello all. About a week ago, my MoBo (ASUS P8Z77-VLX)started to report surge warnings from the power supply. It has been intermittent all week, but has gotten to the point where it is occurring frequently, requiring restarts. It seems to happen at random times, mostly when I am on the desktop, but at least once in a game. Temperatures have been good in the case/GPU, so I don't think it is that. The latest surge report occurred during a 3d mark test (I wanted to stress the GPU (7970) to rule it out). I also got a surge report shortly after that restart. I have been trouble shooting all week and I can't seem to believe it is anything but the PSU. Anyone else have any other ideas? Also, I have tried to open a ticket to RMA the PSU, but there is no part number for the modular version of the TX750, so I am hoping someone from Corsair will be able to help. MGGenn
Came back from some work outside and the computer was down again. After a hard reset it wouldn't post, so I unplugged the PSU. I came back a little bit later and was able to start the machine up. Looking like I definitely need an RMA, but since my PSU isn't on the list I'll have to wait until Monday. peanutz94
Go ahead and start your RMA and choose a model close to what you have . Then post your case number here and one of the Employees can change that and get your RMA approved.
