Just purchased a 500r and this lead was not in the box,it's to connect the front usb3 up to the motherboard,i have started a rma but it was for the whole front usb panel as i couldn't find the lead on the parts center.

Is there someone who could help please as i dont really want the whole front panel and dont want to waste your time corsair.

That is a USB 3 to USB2 adapter if your board does not have USB3 support. Otherwise the cable bundle from the front panel should already have the appropriate cable already there.

What MB are you using?

If you have already started an RMA just log back into your suport ticket and update the information that you need to USB3 to USB2 adapter. They should send you one pretty quick. Just be patient it may take a day or so before you get an RMA confirmation. They will be closed for the weekend, so it may even be next week .

If you can't wait that long then you can call CS by phone and they would be able to take care of you in just afew minutes instead of waiting on the automated system.

Sorry for the delay and missing your post. I went ahead and booked the accessory kit for you that comes with the cable in question. Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
