Viper51
Hello, I thought I'd share my experience with my Corsair CMPSU-750HX that I purchased from Newegg.com on 10/10/2009. So my computer was having trouble posting, sometimes it would boot up for a bit and die or it just wouldn't post at all. I opened the case up and did a visual inspection and checked all the cable connections ect; and lo and behold the 24-pin connector on the motherboard had some severe burn marks. I also checked the 24-pin cable and the wires had some charring and the connector was even slightly melted. I took everything else out to visually inspect and everything else seems fine (visually at least) but the board seems like a total loss and who knows if the CPU, GPU, RAM, ect; is fried or not. You can view the damage here: http://imgur.com/IJghFZS,3GUX065,yvAi1rS,g5cfGfA#0 and here: http://imgur.com/Gsylels,PhGHzKZ,OXovXjz#0 Anyway I called (very friendly) customer support and they told me to fill out an online RMA form and indicate that additional hardware was damaged. So now I am just waiting for a response. -Ken

Viper51
Customer service contacted me on Monday and said they will email me a damage claim form shortly. I waited a couple of hours and didn't receive anything so I responded via the ticketing system and they said they sent it but I didn't get anything (checked spam folder too). I replied and said I still didn't get it and I haven't heard back. RAMGUY: Would you mind looking into this? I know much time hasn't passed but due to the nature of the problem I would just like it to be resolved as fast and pain-free as possible. My ticket number is 6037345. Thank you! Viper51
Well it has almost been a week since I've initially contacted Corsair regarding this issue and I have made zero progress. They promised to send me a damage claim form and I did not receive anything and they have not contacted me in the last two business days. This type of customer support concerns me.
