Warfare78
Hello, I purchased a (Corsair Gaming Series 2013 Edition GS 700W ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply Unit) from Amazon just over a month ago. It has developed a habit of shutting the whole computer down, just straight to off after only a few minutes. Even running just BIOS this happens wondering if you or anyone has any help they can give, thank you, Robert
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 15, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 15, 2013 Hello, I purchased a (Corsair Gaming Series 2013 Edition GS 700W ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply Unit) from Amazon just over a month ago. You can go into your BIOS and check the values. Also, I wouldn't rule out the MB in this case, this could be a board issue. Do you have spare PSU by any chance? or maybe a second system to test the PSU and see if the problem persist. You want to make sure that it is not system dependent. ccaution
If that's a new system, make sure you used the motherboard standoffs properly, too :)
Warfare78
I changed back to the 450w power supply I had in the old rig and its stable. Changed back to just make sure it was a loose wire or anything and its back to shutting off randomly after a few mins again. Since the old one replaced it have had no problems and the Corsair was running okay for a month before this.
