Thomasew
Hi, I'm looking to purchase a 650D case within the next couple of weeks. Can the 2x USB 3.0 ports on the front panel be cabled to the USB 3.0 headers on my motherboard? .. like the 550D. I recall reading a review (oldish) on the 650D, and it was mentioned that the USB 3.0 ports are connected via cables that runs thru to the back of the case .. out of a hole there .. and into your normal USB 3.0 ports. :sigh!: Have the newer (production-wise) 650Ds been retrofitted with USB 3.0 cabling to support USB 3.0 headers ... as in the 550D? ... if not ... is there 'a kit' etc. available, .. that would allow the 650D to support USB 3.0 headers? Thanks and Regards Tom
SpDFrek
There is no kit that I have found that has internal USB connectors for the 650D or the 600T. Both still have external connectors for the USB 3.0 cables to the front panel.
The Joshua Tree
To connect them to your motherboard you just need one of these http://www.akasa.com.tw/update.php?tpl=product/product.detail.tpl&no=181&type=Cables&type_sub=USB%20Cables&model=AK-CBUB09-15BK Mine are connected that way, its easy to get it to look nice and neat. thenosbod
That is what I have used on my set up. I had to return the first one to overclockers because it did not work.
