thegodsend
So I'm building a custom loop soon and wanted to know if its possible to reuse the H100 rad. Does anyone know if it has threads for fittings, has an internal reservoir or anything else I should know about before attempting this? Obviously I'll be rinsing the coolant out with vinegar+water. Thanks
wytnyt
no threaded fittings and the rad is the res.
peanutz94
You would be better off just getting a proper RAD. By the time you figure in time and money to convert it to use in a loop, you could pay for a standard Radiator.
Synthohol
use coca cola instead of vinegar then water. coca cola has phosphoric acid and will do a better job of cleaning out nasty bit that may be in the rad 90% distilled water and 10% ethyl glycol (antifreeze) are the proper ingredients to keep biologicals away and not corrode the internals.
