Alloneword
I have a faulty PSU HX750 which i wanted to do an express RMA so i was given a toll free number in the US, not much use to me to be honest given I'm in the UK and that was put on my RMA ticket, however where does someone in the UK have to send the PSU to and who pay (me I'm guessing) if it is me how much is the cheapest way to get it there and by what carrier, also how long does the new PSU take to get to UK? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 12, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 12, 2013 First thing, you can use SKYPE to call that toll free number it will be a free call. and this is explained in the warranty policy. I am sorry but you would pay the shipping to us and we pay the return shipping. If you have had the Unit less that thirty days you can call our customer service and request paid shipping. Or if this is a second RMA we will pay the shipping. And I am sorry I have no idea what shipping companies are available in Europe I would suggest http://www.google.com. If you would like to get an advanced RMA then again I am sorry but you would need to call our customer servcie by phone if you did not select Express RMA when you filed your RMA request. Thanks for the reply RAM GUY, I don't have skype installed and don't want it installed either, IMO it's a bad show that the only way is too ring US to get a RMA sorted, however they did say they will call me but i'm still waiting :sigh!: I don't mind paying first lot of shipping just wondered if anyone in the UK can shed any light on the cost, PSU's being what they are i'm sure it won't be cheap. Mind you having read some of the threads on here over the last few days it would seem the HX750 is a bit of an iffy unit, but it's been ok for me so far, well i'll just have to wait till they call me lets hope it's not too long as it's doing my head in as i'm only 12 inches away from the case. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 12, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 12, 2013 I am sorry but SKYPE is free to install and use as long as you dont sign up for their phone service and you dont need to do that to make a toll free or local call. I have used it for years from all over Asia and Europe when I travel so I dont see the problem. But that is your choice. I know there are several phone card companies that are relatively cheep to call the US. Other than suggesting you call your reseller and see if they will help is the only other choice but it will add a few weeks to the process. And the HX750 was a very popular unit and has a return rate of less than .005% so there is no issue with that model as its way less than our average on all returns at .02%. Please keep in mind we are moving more than 100K per month on PSU's so while you may see some with the same issue it is because of the Volume that we are selling. I will send them another message and ask them to contact you to setup and advanced RMA and you had questions about the shipping. But I will need your RMA or case number to make those arrangements?
