Radiator Fins

looking at the rad you got the flimsy fins, then there rows of lines or cores [approx.12]that contain the water,

If it was cut should i have seen water leak ?cause i bin using the cooler for about 2 weeks now and all looks ok

yes you would have, but a bent or distorted core can possibly leak later on from heat changes..its worth checking to be safe.

Hi guys just a quick question, does it matter if there is a small dent on the middle of the radiator fins, will this affect the cooling..

Of course it will. Part of the airflow is blocked from dissipating the heat. Probably not measurable until you get to very high loads but why not have all the cooling headroom you can get? You can just carefully take a toothpick and straighten them to get the full design capability of the radiator back. The fins are pretty soft, so be gentle and don't nick the cross tubes.

As "wytnyt" mentioned, the small dent won't make any measurable difference in cooling potential. If there was a major interruption to airflow, the answer would be different.
