i am jarvis
Recently purchased the corsair commander with the lighting and cooling node, so far im really happy with the product, it may have a few faults but its perfect. However is there still no news on when separate LED strips will be available?? My case being a HAF 932 its fairly big and id like it to be more illuminated without buying another lighting node for £

jayboydo
This has been requested a lot. I e-mailed the question directly to Corsair support a few months back. From the feedback I received I don't believe a LED only package is in the works, or at least not something you'll see available any time soon. As the LEDs are proprietary, I also don't believe they are compatible to be daisy chained with other RGB LED brands. At least none that I'm aware of. Best bet is to wait for Corsair to put link accessories on sale and pick up a few kits for a reduced price. To me its misleading that the nodes are advertised to be able to run a multitude of strips per channel, only for the consumer to discover upon purchase that solely the Corsair strips can be used, and that those strips may only be obtained through bundled node kits. The kits are cost prohibitive to buy due to the inclusion of the node, and also a bit wasteful since you'll end up with a bunch of spare lightning nodes, as most everyone will be running the entirety of their LED configuration off of a single channel or two.
