So...how do I ask for an RMA from Spain?

I bought a Vengeance 1500 headset, which was fantastic until it began to have problems. Basically, something seems broken in the volume controls, as touching the +button or even moving it a bit causes the set to go mute. I have submitted a ticket, but I realize I bought the headset on a shop in Spain (but 500 km away, so it's not like I can take a walk and go there...) and now, I am not sure if this is the correct procedure.


Should I just wait for an answer, or should I try to contact the shop?
