Braxos
Hi there I updated my system on the past few days, since we got a baby and i need a quiter living room. So after swaping all items from old Tower to Obsidian 550D and waiting for the AX860i to come tomorrow, i power it up and played with the profiles of the H80 to see the Temp and how much does the system warm up since the 550d has a noise dim, so lower air flow. i have droped the OC i had from 4.5 to default 2 weeks now fora quiter fan perfomance and low Temp. There i noticed that the quit and normal profile of the h80 was on the same noise level. i removed the side doors and checked it. i came up that the noise was comming from the H80 so i tried and stoped for few secs the fans to see if the noise was made from them but no the noise was still there. I have the H80 14-16 months now if i remmember right, atm at work :P The only way to get rid of the noise is to use the high profile of the H80 and then the fans are louder. I tried hitting the fans, water cabels, pump and the cooling but nothing the noise was still there. All that on a idle system on windows desktop with skype just to be open and few backround widgets, steam, origin, core temp, tweak utility, and so on. Since the past tower was abit louder with 240 fans and 4 120 and 2 140 i didnt noticed it, i guess. any ideas what it is? I found this on youtube since i cant stop all the other fans and some noise from the rest is still there, the noise i hear is something like this on the video. P.S. If i try to register on the support site at https://corsair.secure.force.com/portal_registration?refURL=http%3A%2F%2Fcorsair.force.com%2F i get a this ERROR Error: System returned error: System.DmlException: Upsert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: INACTIVE_OWNER_OR_USER, operation performed with inactive user: [] P.S. sorry for my bad english
Toasted
Try a different browser and see if you can register an account. After that, request an RMA to replace the H80. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=107252&page=
Braxos
Try a different browser and see if you can register an account. After that, request an RMA to replace the H80. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=107252&page=7 Thanks for the fast reply. i will try since i am atm at work and have only the Mobile and a PC that runs linux and a immulated windows platform i am limited since all Browsers having the same issue. Two questions, if you know ofcourse, on rma's can you change the end product ? lets say from a H80 to a H100i ? since when i bought the H80 the Case i had didnt support 2 fans but the Obsidian has on top a dual fan support. and the second is how much time does it take since i dont have a second Cooler for the CPU? and i will be without a PC for that time? P.S. what Fan do you recomend for the Obsidian for the front panel? AF 120 or SP 120 Quiet or SP 120 High Performance? thanks again Hope it will fast and painless :P
