bracka
Hello, I got my SP2500 speakers around a month ago. The speakers work and the sound quality is alright. However, the control unit emits very noticeable high pitch whine (coil whine?). It's easily audible and is very annoying. I don't think this is acceptable for a high quality speaker system - kinda ruins the joy of listening. I have made a video demonstrating the issue. The sound becomes audible once the device is on and seems to be louder when some of the controls are used. For example, turning the volume knob. The speakers where muted just before turning the device off, so after turning speaker system on, the sound is coming from the control unit and the speakers remain muted. The phone next to it is just for visual representation. It's running decibel app which displays DBs and the frequency of loudest noise. It's not the most accurate measurement, but still - an additional data source. My unlisted video demonstrating the issue http://youtu.be/avTB7693D6s RMA request is throwing the following error as I try to register. System returned error: System.DmlException: Upsert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: INACTIVE_OWNER_OR_USER, operation performed with inactive user: [] Please advise how to proceed.
