cjmaniac
Hello, I just installed a new HX750 power supply in my system. When you plug in the power and flip on the switch it immediately powers on all of my case fans, front leds and my hard drives. The psu fan spins for a second and stops which I believe is normal for this model. If I push the power switch it will turn on and work normally but if I shut the system down, everything stays powered up. I have checked my bios settings but everything seems normal and I also tried switching my power button around and even unplugging it but it still doesn't work right. It doesn't do this with my old power supply. Is the new one defective?
Speed
Doesn't seem right. It is normal for the fans to spin a bit after the wall plug has been pulled from the power and then re-inserted and power switch turned on. On the shutdown, it sounds like the ACPI state isn't being sensed. Does it power off if you hold the case power button in after initiating an OS shutdown? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 7, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 7, 2013 I would try the system with a different PSU but that could be the MB or the PSU.
