ropd
Initially Corsair Link 2 did not detect any of my fans or my H80i. After going through the remedies provided by Ram Guy everything now shows up EXCEPT my 200 mm front intake and two 200 mm top exhaust fans. I ran through all the remedies again but no luck. The two top fans are connected together with a Y and connected to the MOBO so I assume they should show up as one fan. Plus, I can't get ANY colors on the LED. By the way I'm a total newb on this Corsair Link thing. Help please! Oh, and I forgot, I also have a 200 mm side fan set up as an intake.

ropd
So all the fans have to be connected to the H80i 3 pin pump wire? I guess that means a lot of Y connectors, right?

I guess that means a lot of Y connectors, right? you also have a 2 amp max i believe on the h80i if thats correct, ive not seen this question here on the forum. i do know you can use 2 'y' splitters for a total of 4 fans, more than that i dont know most just get this http://www.corsair.com/us/corsair-link/corsair-link-kits/corsair-link-cooling-kit.html
ropd
Thanks wytnyt for the responses. Leave it to me to break new ground with a unique problem. If that four fan max includes the two fans on my radiator I'm in deep doo doo. I've got four other fans, all 200 mm, in the case. They only run at about 700 RPM and I'm not susre how much current they draw. I'm kind of paranoid when it comes to heat. But I might have to put this on the back burner. I just flashed my BIOS and thought I had saved my OC settings before the flash. I was wrong. Gotta start from scratch tomorrow on re-doing the OC. Thanks again for the info. Maybe somebody else may come up with another solution.
ropd
You know, the more I think about it the more I realize I don't need to monitor/adjust the 200 mm fans. Hooked directly to the MOBO headers they will run maxed out at 700 RPM and are dead silent at that speed. Even if I could see and adjust them in Link I would have them set to run full speed all the time so why bother. Anyway, I wouldn't have room on that little computer case diagram to put all those extra fans.
