Please! Offer the K70 in black with blue lighting!

I posted about this a couple months ago and then forgot about the whole thing, but I just saw the news that the K70 will be offered with Cherry MX Blue and Browns, which has seriously peaked my interest again.

All of my gear is black, silver/grey accent, with blue LEDs. black Corsair case, black Corsair RAM, black Corsair SP2500 speakers, Black Vengeance 1300 Headset.

I am ready to drop 150$ on a keyboard of all things in the next month or two, and I very much would like to give that money to Corsair. I cannot understand why they would not offer black and blue as a color choice.

I would even be willing to pay for the black anodized plate and swap it out on my keyboard if they would sell it to me.

Please Corsair sell me a black and blue K70!

EDIT: I have just read some more articles coming from Computex 2013 and read about the new K70 being offered in "gun metal anodized", is this the same black as the current black and red K70? If yes, fantastic my money is ready for you Corsair, if not then WTF are you thinking?!

EDIT 2: Read some more, and no Gunmetal is not black. I am dissapoint. Corsair, I desperately want your K70 with black aluminum plate, blue LEDs, and Cherry Brown switches.

Agree completely,

Although I will probably settle with gun metal, Id love to see anodised black with blue LEDs.

If Corsair can offer different switch types, surly different board finishes can be done too!

Anodized black with blue backlighting would definitely be the best combination. Gunmetal grey does look nice though.

Since there's still some time, I'm going to wait for more info before deciding. I'm still fantasizing about the possibility of the K95 with cherry MX blue switches and blue LEDs.

I just got my Cherry MX sampler kit and by far my favorite is the Brown with an O Ring on it, which makes me all the more frustrated because I am SO READY to buy, but I just do not like Red LED or anything but a black finish....

Hey Blueso thanks for the links, much appreciated.

While I still would have liked a completely black keyboard with blue LEDs, the gun metal actually looks alot darker than I was expecting and I think has won me over.

I saw something rather concerning in the second video though, the backlighting appeared to be flickering:

I hope that is from the camera shutter speed or maybe a symptom of all those keyboards sharing power from a hub or something, and not how the keyboard usually acts.

Now I just need a Corsair mouse with blue lighting to replace my Logitech G500 and I will be all corsaired out....

YES! PLEASE! I currently have a K60, I purchased it just before the announcement of the K70, and after using it, I LOVED It! But I had a small list of things I'd change. Every single thing I'd change was included on the k70. But I'm holding out for a black model with the blue back lighting. Everything in my rig is black/blue, but I fear the blue lights on the silver keyboard would allow for a lot of glare.

From the videos I've watched the back-light does appear to have a lot more glare on the silver (to be expected). And I think a black keyboard with the blue back-light would be KILLER.

Better yet, make it multi-selectable so people can chose their own color.

I truly hope you guys offer black with blue lights, the day it comes out I'm buyin one. Thanks!

Anyone know when it will be available? I saw in the video they said July, but any idea when? Also is the gunmetal only offered in brown/blue switches?

I'd like red switches with blue lights. The gunmetal looks good, close enough to black.

Should be in stock within 2 weeks or so.

Corsair my suggestion is:

you should add possibility change custom backlight color like in for example in Logitech G510, G19 keyboards.

Physically impossible, Cherry MX switches have room for regular LEDs (single colour), not RGB LEDs, which require 4 holes for the LED connectors. You'd need an alternate method of lighting to work around that limitation.
