H80i Firmware update question...

Okay, so I updated to firmware 1.07 just fine, and am running the 2.4.4948 Corsair Link beta software. However, I have questions on some of the firmware links posted in the beta software thread.

On my computer, in the Corsair Link software under "Devices" there is the Corsair Hydro USB Device, and it lists it as version 2.0.0. Below that is the Corsair H80i with version 1.0.7 listed.

When I hit the "Update Firmware" button, I can choose "Corsair Commander" or "Corsair H80i/H100i" in the dropdown.

My questions: Is the "Corsair Commander" the same as the "Corsair Hydro Device" listed previously (which said I was at version 2.0.0)? Is there a firmware update for the "Corsair Commander?"

The reason I ask, is in the Corsair Link beta software thread, there are links at the bottom for Corsair Link firmware and Corsair Node firmware, and I don't really know what those are for. I likely overlooked some faq thread with the info, but it would be great if it was spelled out in the Corsair Link thread what each file was for and how to check if you've got an old one. Or even what the updates for those firmware did.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What would happen if you occidentally tried to update "Corsair Commander" instead of "Corsair H80i/H100i"? I presume you would get an error and it wouldn't try to flash the FW to your cooler?

And what is the Corsair Node firmware for?
