xTr
Is there any date set on release of the EU versions of K95 keyboard? Every seller I could find says out of stock. I've seen the CH-9000020-UK and CH-9000020-DE versions around but couldn't find a single EU one. My keyboard just died and I'm looking for a replacement, would really like to buy K95 instead of K90. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 4, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 4, 2013 K95's are being sold but EU takes a little longer due to distribution.
TheNightingale
I've read that they'll become available the 29th of June.
Alchemius
Hello to everyone. Is there a major difference between the EU and the UK-Layout, as far as the Vengeance k95 is concerned? Would it be possible for someone with the UK-K95 to post a picture of it (if it is not against the rules of the board, of course)? I have searched for pictures online, and, even though it is not stated explicitly, there seems to be no difference at all. I am interested in an EU-layout (there was one for the K90) but apart from this post, I haven't read any mention that it will be released.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 27, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 27, 2013 There are minor differences between the two. You should be able to find an image of each respectively as we follow the standardized layout for each region.
Alchemius
Thank you, Ram Guy, for the quick reply. Will the EU-layout be available on the Corsair online store soon? I have found a couple of retailers in the Netherlands that offer it, but I would love to combine a K95-order with the FPS-keycaps.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 28, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 28, 2013 There is still a backlog for keyboards but I expect that as more arrive we'll have the different layouts available similar to the K70.
Alchemius
One last question: There have been a lot of mentions about wobbly K95s in this forum. If I were to purchase a K95 from a local vendor in Europe and it turns out to be wobbly (or some other problem), will I be able to request a replacement from Corsair through the official channels (i.e. this forum and the official website)? skillcake
Yes, that's the way I handled my wobble issue. RAM GUY takes care immediately! :)
Alchemius
Hello, again. Concerning the availability of the international English version of the K95 (and our need to get our hands on one :-) ), I wanted to ask about its status in the online store. It has been a while since my last post, and a couple of months ago, seeing no update here, I decided to purchase one from a store in the Netherlands (I am based in Germany), and additionally buy the wonderfully contoured keycaps from the online store. Even though I was happy to receive the keys three days later (thumbs-up to your service, btw, Corsair!), I found out that, apparently, it is very difficult to purchase a "simple" keyboard from another country. Two months of delays, messages, supposedly wrong/missing addresses, and two different stores as well, I had to give up. :-( Now, before I try another store again, and knowing for a fact that the CH-9000020-EU is indeed available, as it is listed nearly in every Central-European store (except Germany, they have their own layout), I had to ask if there is any possibility to order it directly from Corsair. The online store does not list it anywhere, but I cannot imagine it not being available to you guys (if it is sold elsewhere online, why not here? You are definitely producing it). Is there anyone I can contact? Should I just order the North American version and explain then that I am interested in the EU one (bigger Enter-key, shorter left-Shift etc.)? I appreciate any response on the matter.
Braxos
22-11-2013 is date for restocking eu k95, as I can say do to waiting for a replacement for my defective k95 EU. I had ordered the NA k95 and they did send me a EU one, I noticed a week ago when I got my replacement from hong kong since netherlands didn't have NA on stock for long time. I didn't see that it was a EU version (didn't knew that big enter has EU and short left shift) but I was happy with and since they didn't notife me after purchase of the change, it was better for me because I was wanted the big enter key. Wait till someone from corsair replys on this I don't want you to take my words as proof, I may was lucky with the swap. So toll free skype number support guy said EU will be mid November available again till then I am stuck with a NA k95 since I send the EU one back to get ride of the hold on my CC. GL either way both k95 NA and EU are very similar.
