charlesprofe
This happens since I bought this headset: When I plug in the headset to the USB to recharge them, i can hear an irritating noise if and only if the mic is down(and activated). The noise is heard in both the microphone output and the headset. If unplug them or deactivate the mic the noise disappear and if I touch the case, the noise softens. PD: It never happened on my old headset.
Toasted
Have you tried a different USB port? Does it do the same? Plug the headset into a different computer and see if the issue is still there. Check the sample rate for the headset and Microphone and make sure its on 44100Hz.
charlesprofe
Thank you for answering. Yes, I tried on all USB of my computer - both 3.0 and 2.0 - before posting. Still there on all of them. Tried just now on another computer. Same issue (even louder). The sample rate... In Control Panel the speaker was a 48MHz, but i changed it to 44.1. The micro was already at 44.1. Same issue :sigh!: PD: Just tried, if i disable microphone "by software" the noise is still there. I can only get rid of it is by removing the cable or up the microphone until it disables "by hardware".

Toasted
By old headset? Do you mean another V2000 headset? Try a different charging cable and see if that helps.
