StevenL
I'm currently using an Intel Core i7 950 at Stock Speeds with X.M.P. and getting around 45 degrees at Idle. Considering it is around 90 degrees outside it seemed normal until I realized my stock GTX 670 had lower temps at around the low 40s. Running Prime95 gives me around 75 degrees. I've tried reseating the cooler several times using a fresh application of AS5 with limited success. The lowest I've ever gotten was around 38 degrees but that's when it was chilly outside. Is this normal behavior for an H80i with an i7 at stock. I'm a bit skeptical on overclocking with temps this high already. On a side note, I've noticed that upon installing the latest version of Corsair Link and using FW 1.0.5 my LED setting isn't retained after reboot. I usually set it to be red but after a cold boot the LED changes to pink. I also tried flashing 1.0.7 but it still exhibits the same behavior. Not a major issue but strange.
