H100i LED problem

Hello. I have the h100i less than one month. First everything worked great. But a few days ago, i notice that my blue Logo transformed in green. I tried everything, installing different Corsair LInks, different FW, the result is the same: only green LED works. In the device information of Corsair H100i says: "Available LED channels:1". Does it mean that only green LED work and another’s 2 are broken? What can i do to fix this problem?

Thank you, in advice.

p.s. sorry for my bad english.

Hello KostulMS, from reading your post, i assume that you have already updated to the latest FW V1.0.7. If that doesnt fix the LED issue, then we will be more than happy to replace the cooler under warranty.

Hello, regarding your problem with the LED. Mine were not working one week after i first used the H100i. It seems to be an error of fans. I have the HAF X Case. It comes with a 200mm top fan. And a 140mm rear fan. I used the original 200mm fan and changed the 140 with a corsait quiet edition. Also changed fan 1 and 2 of radiator with 120mm quiet edition. Now decided to add 2 more fans on the radiator and used the original H100i fans at the top and connected them to the pump (fan 3 and 4 at CorsairLink 2). I didn't expected the LED to work and it was working again. Hope this help you too guys. (The 140 and 200 fans are now connected on my mobo.)

Hi Ram Guy,

I bought the unit from Wootware computers in Cape Town South Africa about 5 months ago. 3 Days after i got the unit (running great mind you) the LED's started playing up. First the red went then the blue and only the green remained.

I then checked the forums and contacted Wootware about the issue. They said this was a known issue an that the upcoming firmware would sort this issue out. I have now updated to 1.0.7 and still the issue persists. I Want to get hold of Wootware again but worried they will tell me the same thing as last time. I can always give any details regarding my pc or parts but i am sure that the issue is with the unit.

Is there any way that you could assist me in this regard?

Again i must apologize for the mail but it does seem like you the man to talk to!

Please go to the C-Link software and see if you can set the different colors manually. if you can then yes it will be solved in a future update But if the colors will not respond manually IE one of the colors will not turn on then the unit will have to be replaced.

Hello, Ram Guy... I just noticed the same problem, I just reinstalled windows and with new c-link version I was offered an upgrade from 1.0.4 (stock for me) to 1.0.7. I don't know if the LEDs wasn't working before (but I have the feeling that I saw yellow last week before system disk collapsed) but now - I see just green light, and if I try to manually set red or blue without green the light switch off. C-Link is telling me that there is one LED channel availaible.

My question is - if I forget the LEDs as my system is closed one and does not have transparent side, will the pump be working okay?

I can RMA it, I think, in my country but I would gladly save the effort of taking it out, waiting and installing a new one again. So MUST it be replaced or is the pump unaffected by light, please?

Thank you for your answer.

you do not need the leds for the hydro to function properly, its merely lights to allow the user a visual of the hydro's status...
