lamiari
Windows 8 doesn't recognize Voyager GT USB 3.0 either as USB 3.0 or as USB 2.0. I saw that you're recommending updating USB drivers, but all my drivers are up to date and ALL other USB devices work fine. It seems to me that there is some issue with Voyager flash drive itself. Corsair must take some actions to fix the issue instead of blaming other companies when the only device which doesn't work is Corsair's Voyager USB 3.0 flash drive! Toasted
Open Device Manager, right click the drive and post the status of the device here.

Synthohol
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/usbcoreblog/archive/2012/06/08/new-for-windows-8-problem-descriptions-for-usb-devices-and-hubs-in-device-manager.aspx likely its more of a windows 8 issue than the drive. other users reporting the same issue here have no problems with the drives under win7. i would take the drive to any computer store and try the drive in the demo computers to see if it has the same issue. lamiari
Thank you for the replies. I have AMD USB controllers and I had tried installing drivers in Win 7 compatibility mode. That didn't help. I've tried other things suggested in different posts, but nothing made it work. After spending several hours on reading online posts and trying different workarounds I've decided to return the flash drive to the seller and get a different make, which works with Win 8 without all this hustle.
