coolAid Posted May 28, 2013 Share Posted May 28, 2013 Hi @all, I want to know if the individually sleeved cables that were made for the AX1200 Gold Series do also work with the new AX760 Platinum. I know that there are new cables for the AX760 (and the other PSUs of the series) like http://www.corsair.com/us/power-supply-units/psu-accessories-1/professional-individually-sleeved-dc-cable-kit-type-3-generation-2-blue.html, but the problem is that I am not able to find them anywhere in Germany. But I can get the cables that were made for the AX1200 Gold here, so will they work with the AX760? Or to ask more specific, does the AX760 have other connectors than the AX1200 Gold? I guess if the connectors are the same, there is no reason why the cables shouldnt just work fine... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jlhawn Posted May 28, 2013 Share Posted May 28, 2013 I would like too know why Corsair does not make their psu able too share cables such as all the AX should share cables, and HX share cables etc. EVGA makes theirs so cables can be shared with the same model line up. also I have owned my AX1200 for 2 years next month and I just now ordered the sleeved cables for it from Corsair as they are now 40 bucks, if my AX1200 dies on me in lets say a year from now will corsair replace it with another AX1200 or will I get a AX1200i ? as I see they nolonger sell the AX1200 and very few online stores have it anymore, if so then my new sleeved cables I just bought will be useless. I don't understand if all computers have 24 pin main connectors and pci-e and sata connectors, and 4 pin molex, why can't Corsair have the ax1200 cables fit the ax1200i ? makes no sense too me except it's just another big corperation taking advantage of the little guy and forcing him to spend more of his hard earned money. :(: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
