JKwan
I am wondering if I set a static IP for the VA and how to do so. I am also wondering if there is a more extensive manual for me to download as well. Thanks.
Pooka
You should be able to find the IP address for the Voyager Air in the network settings of your system. If you're using a browser to access your Voyager Air rather than an app, you will be able to access the Voyager Air Settings page by adding "/ui/corsair/index.html#home" to the IP address path (or it may even come up as the default page when you access the IP address of the Voyager Air.) I am wondering if I set a static IP for the VA and how to do so. I am also wondering if there is a more extensive manual for me to download as well. Thanks. orionIS
I tried this, but it does not work. The IP of the Voyager Air here is 192.168.1.65. When I enter this IP in the browser, I get an error that it can't be reached. The Address 192.168.1.65/ui/corsair/index.html#home gives back an error too. But I can access the Voyager through the mentioned IP through the Android Voyager Air App. So the IP is defenitely correct. I just need to know how to change that IP. I would like to have a STATIC IP and not a DHCP-IP. Can someone help please?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 21, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 21, 2013 The default wireless I.P. address for the Voyager air is 192.168.77.1 Do you have the drive connected to the router or are you trying to access the drive through wireless? There's a good Voyager connectivity guide you can find here: http://www.corsair.com/us/blog/the-corsair-voyager-air-connectivity-guide/
orionIS
It is connected through Network on IP 192.168.1.65. I logged in through wireless without any problem. The problem is NOT the connection. This works fine. I just want to make sure it connects to a fixed / static IP. For example it should connect always to 192.168.1.200, and not get automatically a new IP through the DHCP-Service of the router every time I restart the VoyagerAir. I just can't find the settings of the VoyagerAir where I can ASSIGN a static IP-Address.
Yellowbeard
There is no option in the current firmware to assign a static IP. We are looking at adding it to a future release but I have no timeline.
barkster28
I solved it by just creating a ip address reservation in my dhcp server using the mac address. Some routers support this also.
