ritz Posted May 27, 2013 Share Posted May 27, 2013 When starting from cold (after being unplugged) my computer takes forever (up to 4 hours) before it seems to get any power. No motherboard LED, no nothing. Eventually the motherboard LED will turn on, and once it's on everything works perfectly until it's completely disconnected from the mains again. Nec_V20 Posted May 27, 2013 Share Posted May 27, 2013 I had a similar but not as extreme a problem. Turns out my Corsair XMS RAM did not like to work from cold. The system would not boot up, then when it did it Windows would immediately blue-screen. I had to go into the BIOS and leave it there for about 10 minutes and then the system would boot up perfectly. My advice would be to take out all the RAM except for one stick, try that out and rinse and repeat until you have either eliminated all the RAM as the cause or until you find the culprit. Torment74 Posted May 29, 2013 Share Posted May 29, 2013 I had the exact same problem with my ax650.....I got a replacement PSU from corsair and that fixed the problem straight away.
