Alloneword
First off i have to say i don't know the technical names for certain parts of my PSU so please bear with me. I have the HX750 and I'm NOT a gamer so none of the Blue sockets on my PSU have been used however the same cannot be said for the Black sockets they have all been used now, as you can see from my spec I'm a bit of a data hog and I may be getting more HDD soon but i have no SATA room left on the PSU, by that i mean black sockets, so my question is can i buy and adapter of some kind to allow me to run more HDD from the Blue side of the PSU (PCI-E sockets i think there called). When looking into buying the PSU a few years ago i know there was some mention of "rails" and i think this meant certain power/current being given to one side of the PSU and not over loading that, and that it seems is what i'm doing here as ALL my power is coming from the black sockets, is this something i should be worried about? peanutz94
The HX750 is a single rail PSu so there is no need to worry about separating components or balancing power. . However you would need to look for SATA splitter for the cables you have already. You can not use the blue slots for HDD's. Those are for graphics cards only and would supply the wrong voltage to your HDD's. You can use splitters like this one to add extra SATA connectors if youu need more of them. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/13901/cab-471/Akasa_SATA_Power_Y_Splitter_Cable_AK-CBPW05.html?tl=g2c38s261
